"building information and understanding"

The Business

A and L Information Brokers' mission is to promote the use of dialogue for
managing conflict  from the every-day business of managing finances and
property, and living with government policies and regulations.

It focuses on providing easy to understand pools of information:

  • Discussion papers, reports, and reviews, available from its web site
and in traditional published form; and,
  • Training and Coaching workshops for learning how to participate in
    dialogue.

A Brief History of the Company

A and L Information Brokers was established in 1993 to widen the
opportunities everyone has to contribute to the pools of information they need
to manage their finances and property effectively, but do not have time to stop
working and go back to school.

It evolved into coaching non-profits and small businesses wanting to learn
how to set up their financial reporting system so they could understand what
was happening and could make better choices.
It added training and coaching for anyone wanting to improve their
management skills as government legislation moved non-profits, charities,
and governments toward mediation (talking together), to reduce the burden of
congested courts

Company Facts

There are two regular, part timers who make A and L Information Brokers
possible:
Isabel Anderson started the business, and Fred Langford joined a few years
later.

Their competitive advantage is from:

Management along with over 25 years of coaching in the classroom in
Economics (especially International Economics, and Government
Regulations and Policies), along with experience in private
corporations, government, universities, non-profits, and charities; and,
  • Fred's post-secondary, undergraduate, and graduate studies in

    and regulations.
Information pools make
for effective choices when
they have answers to:

What can we do now?

What can we know?
>>>>>>>>
What's the right choice?
>>>>>
How do we get there from
here? >>>>>>>
